I have a 60s CV P. I took a chance with a ebay pick guard from China that was for Fender. It fit perfectly. Every screw was perfectly lined up. I only needed to trim the neck slot because it was too tight. It is a quality piece. Not photo fake.Hi, folks from the sweet Classic Vibe club!
I got a '11 Classic Vibe 60s Jazz Bass with me and today I just redid my original 60s bridge pickup cavity grounding inspired work on it, using... folded aluminium foil. Totally buzzless when untouching the strings. Here you go (sorry for the finger tips on the control plate!) :

I'm planning to replace the pickguard because it doesn't look "tortoise shell" to me but rather "brown marble texture"... anyway! Did someone replaced it on his/her own Squier CV 60s JB?Any size issues or perfect fit? Thanks!
