True, but my Sandberg is 19mm spacing but larger radius . Very comfortable for me to play. I can go between all of my other basses just fine, including my Short Scale StingRay and CVP. I have given up on a P5. My CV60P will be my keeper P. and that is ok by me.
Makes sense. It’s why my hands doesn’t get along with that brand, all their necks feel chonky and uncomfortable..

I mean, it's a fine ol' Pino machine! And if it can't sparkle, surely that's the way to soften the landing

Even tribute line, I found the 4 string L2000 still has fatter neck shape and chunky than CV50P.
Definitely made for larger man’s hands. Sadly, basses are not one Size fits all.
I know we’re in the Classic Vibe club, but does anyone have any experience with the VM Jaguar bass that was the long scale version with concentric knobs? Black, tort pick guard, matching black headstock, rosewood fingerboard with block inlays? From what I can find they were only made a few years around 2010. It’s hard to do a search and get info about the right one because there are so many different Squier Jaguar basses lol.
I get that, on a fairly pricey bass like that for me it'd have to be a good fit right out of the gate.

I saw one on CL for a great price and replied right away like within a couple minutes of the listing, 10 hours later seller sent an e-mail saying just sold, really? Reminded me to change reply title and respond every couple hours, my thinking is that with e-mails the first reply in would be the last to be read, lesson learned.
Have you ever considered installing a Drop-D tuner or stringing your CV P to BEAD tuning, assuming either are viable options?
Yikes! It's pretty as all get-out, but damn...you could land an aircraft on that neck, it's so huge!
I might consider a dtuner at some point.
It wasn’t the width across. Rather the mass and thickness front to back.
Made the area between my thumb and pointer finger hurt and cramp up. It can only stretch but so far .
They can be a lot of fun and very handy...once you manage to dial the damn thing in properly. (Persnickety, they can be!
) I have them on most of my basses. I always keep mine tuned to "D", but it's nice to know they can go as low as "C", if the need were ever there. Of course, if someone needs to go all the way down to "B", then they aren't much help.
Is it worth it?
