For me, the MUST own/ keep CIC Squier CV bass belong to both Sonic blue/ Fiesta Red CV60P and Vintage White MF Sig P (tone ,colour and playing feel). Following is Lake Placid blue JJ sig J and Butter Scotch CV50P (colour matter ) .
All things considered, the James Johnston Jazz would top my list. I've never encountered one in real-life, but if it really is built upon the same specs as the '60s Jazz, then I know it'd feel and sound fantastic. I guess I should've purchased a new one when I had the chance. Ah, well...live and learn.

I was impressed with the original logo, well it depends if it's a pre-2012 or post-2012. Pre 2012 had golden leaf Squier logo, and after that, it was simply golden metallic ink. The former would be more difficulty to copy, I guess?
I used to think the smooth turn quality was good but on my CV60 Jazz, it's so smooth it doesn't hold position if I touch it even slighty

a maple neck with maple fingerboard with reverse wound tuners and a skunk stripe and narrow tall frets
birdseye maple would be deeelish.
