Squier/Doom Bassquiers 49: Squiers The Beef?

The wick I had was a passive $$, it was great, super versitile, from MM to mega P to classic wick. But I want a BO Thumb and needed speakers more than the bass.

first run is mild, next go is wild. Takes a pretty good amount of playing to get the eq on the amp right. Then you are gold.

It was close to that but a lot more painful treble, like an ice pick. I was playing through a sunn 200s with bass dimed and treble around 3, hi and lo switches off and vol around 5.

Just wasnt my thing.

I noticed that my amp's bass knob had to be dimed, but the low end, in grunt mode, is so freaking sweet. Of course, different flavors and all that squier... ;)

Atleast you know now. It sucks to always wonder what if. Wish I had a Supercollider to disqualify. I'm not trying to spend money to cypher pedals though. I wish we had a doom room jam out where we bring all the gearz and meet up. Then I could try some of ya'llz toobz and Squiers!

Been thinking about getting another Ripper...haven't owned one in a few years, but Rippers, Grabbers and especially G3's are so awesome...to me :D

so me and a friend just partaked in a bowl before our movie, totally went to the wrong movie, ended up seeing Guilt Trip, made me want to hug my mother, but funny and worth the $2.

This head I bought is turning out to be pretty cool. Decent enough bass head, but I play more guitar at home, and this thing makes some magical clean tones with a strat, carbon copy, and its spring reverb on full. I guess I need to start making a guitar rig to keep at home, NEEDZ MORE FUZZ. Thinking something muff clone. And one of those Behringer Rotary Machines I mentioned earlier. Then I think splitting effects between channels would be really cool. Not too much, Im not a guitarist at heart, bass will always be my number one.

I'm gonna see if I can trade my Yamaha for one of those or another cheap cab. Not going to be need that any more sounds no where near as good.

^me and my girlfriend went to go watch a movie one night,Hitchcock,fairly lightweight film.We got there 10 minutes late and it was sold out,so we just asked for two tickets to whatever was on next.We didn't even know what we were watching,but it was just torturing,conversation and the occasional car bomb

god i'm tempted to smack together a whole ******** of cheap cabs with mixed drivers and old tube amps for my rig, record blind samples, get talkbass to rate it, then show them the picture of the "wrong" setup and blow some minds.

(yeah, i ventured outside of the thread again)
