Nice! I think I might grab the white pearl one from reverb! How'd it fit? Need any modding?Pickguard is from here: Squier VM Jaguar Bass Pickguard Short Scale 4 Ply Black Pearl | Reverb
Just got the pickguard yesterday and I love it- I think it complements the black jag really well. No affiliation (with the pickguard manufacturer), I just think it's pretty.

How was the fit? Did you have to do anything other than screw it in place? I've been thinking of getting the Tort guard ever since I bought my Jag!Pickguard is from here: Squier VM Jaguar Bass Pickguard Short Scale 4 Ply Black Pearl | Reverb

Now look what you have done. Just placed an order through Reverb, can't wait to see how it looks on my Silver Jag SS!The fit was perfect! I did have to unscrew the control plate to shift it a tiny bit so that everything was snug together. But it only had to shift such a tiny amount all the screw holes in the pick guard and control plate still lined up perfectly.
Interesting, I have 2 unused jazz bridge pickups (1 wilkinson and 1 seymour duncan) if I removed the magnet on the bottom of one of the pickups and used that for the mod would that work? The magnet mod doesn't cost much and gives you more options. Although I do agree its best with the P pickup heavy.
Ok tried the magnet mod, it made the bridge pickup louder but i didn't like the fact that i could no longer adjust the pickup height due to having to remove the pickup foam because of the extra depth added by the magnet so i ended up reverting back to stockInteresting, I have 2 unused jazz bridge pickups (1 wilkinson and 1 seymour duncan) if I removed the magnet on the bottom of one of the pickups and used that for the mod would that work?
Those barts looks awesome, how do they sound?Picked up one of these babies two weeks ago. Changed the pups to Bartolini 8CBP-9CBJD-L1 and installed Ultra Lite Hipshots. Used it this weekend on a gig and it sounded so good. Might be my main squeeze for a very long time. So easy to play. Number please!!
