Hopefully, a crummy iPhone photo will do the job to get a number! Having fun with this short-scale stuff....

Why, yes. Yes it does.

You are #47.

Just put Smalls through her first full practice. This bass my friends, kills. Period. And it will be a slaughterfest when I put the DiMarzios in it (and I mean that in the best way possible) :bassist: :hyper: :bassist:

I played one of these at GC and was quite blown away at the value. Neck is much like my jazz with better reach. For a guy that surfs the net for an affordable short scale it is a dream come true. I hope to order my very own soon, but would likely mod it up due to the low price point.
I am curious if anyone knows the size of the J pickup. Is it the standard Bridge 3.75 or the smaller neck size? Also, has anyone done their pots yet? I hope to use CTS 250's with a blender in the middle. (one thumb, one volume) Just wonder if it will fit. I suppose at this price point it should be buy it and try it.

From why I've heard, haven't taken mine apart yet, is I think they have small pots but you can squeeze full sized ones in there. A guy earlier in the thread dropped a Nordy jazz pup in his so I'm guessing its a standard size cavity.

Yup.

I replaced mine with a CertainBass Varitone circuit. It has standard size pots and all I had to do was swap out the plate. Fit like a dream and I love it.

I tried the Candy Red Jaguar again this afternoon. I stand corrected... The pickups are dead quiet on mine !!! Last time I played it was most likely on a bad electrical outlet or something like that. Yes, the J pickup is weaker and would need to be changed and that is what I will do. For me, the P pickups are fine.
