did you buy this from FLKnifemaker ?

Yes but with stock pickups and shinny finish

Ive got a 4-string Squier P-Bass, Corvette blue with white pickguard. The neck has a really sweet twist in it  and it is wearing 4 year old strings:hiding:. Sounds like dead crap next to my brand new ibanez;), which made me realize that I really should put new strings on it! I will be getting a picture up soonly, so count me in :)

my new squier 50's bass came in today and I like it. It feels just as good as my American PBass and sounds great too. I think I'll be playin' this one alot. Just need some flatwound strings. It also has what looks like a Gotoh 201 bridge. I'll probably change that out for a vintage style Fender bridge...

Steve-

Looking forward to your review of this one. I've been shopping for a '51-style bass for awhile now. I called my local GC today but they don't have this one in stock yet. I'd really like to directly compare this one to a Fender '51 RI. Maybe someday I'll find a shop with both of them.
