I have tried out an Affinity P couple of weeks ago and I was pretty surprised because I entered the store expecting something like.. well, crap. I was terribly wrong. Now since I'm planning to buy one of these, I would like to hear some comments from the owners? And also, I have checked out the Fender site and it says the standart Squier P has agathis body and the Affinity has alder. If that's the case, I would pick Affinity over standart any day. Any thoughts?
The Duncan Designed pickup is very good, although I think it could bite a bit more, and that's what I look for in a PrecisionI thoroughly enjoy the Duncan Designed pup, though after replacing the pickguard my tone knobs is scratchy. Do you think I just pulled a connection loose? Simple resolder job?
And I really like the looks of yours.. The black pickguard is pretty killer.
Totally digging the pickguard paintjob there.
I'd love to pick up one of the VM jazzes but so far every one I've seen is close to 10 lbs. Anybody got a light weight one?
Pick up a natural finished, Ash SX jazz at the same time. The VM will seem light.....
Mine (VM) is not too bad, but it kind of goes with the territory with a maple body....
