Thanks man! She has changed a bit since then with all matching knobs, but otherwise shes the same! She plays wonderfully, thought the action seems a bit high. I think the nut needs cut a little bit deeper.

Back in the day I played an American Standard P Bass. Sold it many years ago. I've recently gotten back into playing bass, and due to my financial situation, I bought a Squier Affinity P bass.

***? 200 bucks? The thing was set up perfectly (for me at least), and sounds just like a standard P. People need to stop hating and understand the majesty of the mighty Squier!

I am new and proud owner of the cheapest bass in Squier family: Affinity P!

Pickguard and neck finish are obviously very cheap but red metallic paint job is gorgeous, frets are nice and level. This bass FEELS right - good balance, weight and everything. I will replace the pickguard by 3-ply b/w/b soon and maybe change the pickup somewhere in the future.

Here it is, still 100% stock

Me, doing simple exercise from "Slap It" (another time: she is all stock, even the strap )

hey all. I picked up a Deluxe Active V off the bay last week loaded but without a neck. Any of ya all swap out your neck and would want to come off the original?

I was thinking about a Warmoth but the one I HAVE to have will be well over $400 and I'd really like to get this bad boy up and running!!!
