Actually yeah haha i got the 50's p bass used with a duncan bassline pick up i loved it 2 months and got an american standard and i am playing that now , just never was a fan of the 50's single coil.

I've been trying to gain weight for the past 10 years, but I just can't get above 150 pounds!

I'm very much considering picking up a Squier VM Jazz - the natural body with maple neck/block inlays. And what I'm thinking of doing is changing out the decal on top as a proof to one of my guitarists that I play with that they don't suck. So hopefully he doesn't know what the decals should look like and that Fender MIA or MIM have the serial number on the front.... but maybe that will tie into the '70s re-issue thing.
