I know, I mean Sadowsky make all their 5ers at 19mm, who am I to say they are wrong, I'm sure it's all issues on my end.

Just got off the phone with Warmoth. They say they dont make nuts or bridges that cater for that! Can you believe that?!

Honestly, that's not always possible.. You seem to be one of the few people around here that's actually laid their hands on one. Luckily, the price on it is low enough to where I (and many others, likely) would be comfortable enough ordering one online through a reputable dealer with a good return policy (GC/MF, AMS, zZounds, Sweetwater, Sam Ash) to give it a go, and if it's junk, return it and eat the $20 or so shipping and buy something else.

I'm assuming that the UK get sent instruments before their official release, so they can all appear at the same time the wold over.
You often see new models either listed, or released on UK and Euro websites early, then removed when they realize they loaded them up too early.
The Epiphone Explorer & V reissue showed up on Thomann months before anyplace else, for example.

A VM 5er is a good thing... only if it meets or raises the bar already set by the CV and VM series... I can't see why it would sound too different from the regular VM 4, unless there was something seriously wrong with it. And a Jazz with no growl? That's not a Jazz... I like to roll off the vol on the neck pu a bit... good stuff.
