I been down this rabbit hole, and here is my result. Comfortable, but also look like disco balls.

I get it. Couldn’t stop staring at these Air Force 1 done up by Swarovski.

Shoes are like your pick guard. They don’t need to blend in.

Another one for slip-on Vans here. If I dress up for like a wedding gig I'll usually do a tie and dress shirt with a vest but still wear jeans and the Vans.

Usually for me it’s one of those two:

I had Cydwoq “Goggle” for a while, and they feel amazing and really like nothing else for walking- but for my feet they are the closest I get to the experience of an English sports car. There’s always something that needs fixing, seams and the like. Not so with the other options.

I wear different kinds of shoes for gigs but I will say that I took to wearing skinny jeans and suspenders after I saw my baggy ass back side in a video of a gig. Plus - I'm older and old guys tend to lose some booty after a while. Makes it more difficult to hold up pants!

These are EVENTS after all. Not a trip to Home Depot. If your stage wardrobe doesn't come at least close to what you've spent on at least one decent bass, you're skimping:

Dress sneakers are what you are looking for. Black leather upper with white sole always looks good. Boots would also work with the right jeans and t-shirt. You can't go wrong with a well-fitted black t. Choose wisely.

Stay away from anything that looks geriatric. Seeing a lot of shoes posted that are one step away from velcro.

You can find comfortable cool lookin' clothes and shoes for on stage. Many simply fail to go looking for them. Takes way less time than most people spend looking for bass gear.
