Boots, dress sneakers, throwback-type sneakers, comfortable dress shoes even work.

Under no circumstances: Crocs, flip flops, jogging shoes or any other shoes that beg to be accessorized with cargo shorts.

Way back in 1980 I was the only one I know of to wear bright red jogging shoes for shows. They literally glowed under red lights.

For the last several years it's been black Nike Air or sometimes the blue suede shoes I bought at a consignment shop.

In ancient history it was Platform shoes. After that stupidity it was boots, harness boots, cheap cowboy boots, and much pricier one piece shark cowboy boots.
Their was a small blip of time were I wore way overpriced wing tips and French Cuff shirts. I must have been one classy dork.
