CBS fall schedule has 'Star Trek: Discovery' and a ton of reality TV

CBS revealed a rather depressing pandemic-era fall TV schedule.

First, there's some news for Star Trek fans who haven't opted to pay for CBS All Access: The debut season of Star Trek: Discovery — you know, the one that streamed in 2017? — will air on the broadcast network this fall.

Ive already seen it, I like it alot. It doesnt look anything like swat, mcgyver, fbi, h 5-0, etc.

I struggled with S3 e1... e2 better. I think this show I just have to watch every season twice for it to "sit" with me.

I'm digging the new tech - the instant personal transporters, the funky beds and so on. Grudge the cat is also the new star of the series!

Book seems like a cool character, even if the actor portraying him is basically selling himself as "young Idris Elba" a little too hard.

I enjoyed the 'wild west' vibe of ep.2, and it also proved why Michelle Yeoh is the MVP of the Disco crew. Interested to see what's happening with Detmer, she didn't look... right. She didn't bring back any Control nanites in her implants, did she?

Trek has always been 'woke'. That word just wasn't used for it in the 60s. People have been saying the same about the new Doctor Who - where have they been for the past 57 years?
