Sonic research strobe tuner is the best pedal tuner I've ever used. Very accurate, almost too acurate, and actually requires you to learn how to use it. But I never worry about if I'm out of tune or not (but a lot of times my guitarists are).

The Korg Pitchblack is my second favorite, big easy to read display, and tracks a low F without using harmonics, no other tuners I've owed do that...even the sonice reseach...again sometimes too acurate

Yeah I think with the pedals being too good your ("in") out of tune with the rest of the band. That's why I went back to a tu-2

Best easily available one I've found is a Polytune, far faster and more accurate than my old TU-2 (I hated that tuner, i swear the calibration was off). I also have a korg pitchblack, which is alot more accurate than the TU-2 but is roughly the same speed at tracking. Unlike Ron's experience though I have a hard time getting it to track my low B, I will report back once i increase the string size and tension, cause it seems to wobble +\-.

I like it for use with cstvt since both guitar players are rarely playing the same thing, and there are tons of open chords so a lot of notes are going on pretty much the whole time, it's nice being truely in tune so I know every note I hit shouldn't be clashing with any note they're playing.

Sonic Research Turbo Tuner is the best I've used. The TU-2 isn't very accurate. Sorta kind ok if you never need to adjust intonation with it. I have a Polytune on the way, for my guitar board, just to try something else from the new hot tuners out there.

Did a lot of research before buying my polytune, pretty happy with it. I've found I don't really care for a strobe tuner read out though it has that too. What sold me was the photo sensor that changes the display dimness based on the room. I have zero problems reading it with lights on, lights off, shining a flashlight at it... yes I have tested all of these because I'm way too ocd about gear.

Funny, polytune has been my least favorite tuner that I've tried. I had the regular and the mini (mostly because the mini is so damn tiny). I always have had problems with the polytune switching to poly mode when I don't want it to, can't get it to switch back over to chromatic mode.

debatable, I can use my sonic reseach for intonating, so I can use it at shows and for intonating my basses without the need of a fancy tuner that I only use once in a while.

In other news, realized I was using the B7K kind of wrong, didn't realize the "level" control controlled the level of the gain/drive and not the whole unit, so I'm gonna give it another go at practice tomorrow and see how it goes, the gain was more present and even (without sounding blown out/mushy) at home so I'm guessing the same will go at high volumes, Also was messing with it as a dirty EQ at the end of my chain to some really good results running my rat into it. So I will be trying that out as well...might have a winner afterall.

Also have a customized fuzzrocious Demon King on it's way to me this week....gain on gain on gain.
