Yeah I just don't understand how it's any harder to ship to Canada than it is to ship to anywhere in the US. Filling out a few extra forms can't be that much of a hassle.

I mean obviously I'm going to pay for the shipping charges so what's the big deal? I just don't get it.

I usually offer $5 more than what they are asking and it is usually accepted. only had 2 or 3 say no...for pedals at least. amps and basses get trickier some people worry about legal recourse across borders should a deal go bad.

Yeah trying to ship an amp or cab across would get stupid expensive but for a pedal I don't see the big deal. Sucks too cause I'm out east. There is crap all for selection of awesome bass gear at local Long & Mcquade stores.

It was gonna take like 5+ months for my local store to get in an Orange AD200B for me. Thankfully they were able to snag one from another L&M store that happened to have one in stock.

I usually ship from work at the company's expense (sshhh teehee). So I generally keep it conus if shipping from there, but I see no problem shipping to Canada if the buyer pays the extra shipping.

Using the strobe readout function on a typical chromatic tuner is roughly equivalent to making your bass like a vintage 60s model by doing a relic job on the finish. If you like the way it looks that's cool, the resulting audio has no connection to it. All they did was just emulate the readout of a strobe tuner, the readout isn't the thing that makes it accurate.

Ah that could have been it cause I believe he was offering the pedal at cost. Ah well I'm sure others will pop up from time to time. That or I'll just break down and order one myself.

Hey guys, I've been a quasi-lurker here for a while but I've always felt a bit too awkward to start posting here as a habit. Anyways, since this is pretty much the friendliest place on TB, I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips on mixing/syncing tracks on Audacity or point me towards a more intuitive program. I've been trying to make a jamtrack for myself but I've ended up creating a pretty monstrous cluster**** in the process.

I use Reaper for a DAW. Maybe try the demo (it's unrestricted/uncrippled) and see if it works any better for you. I don't have any experience with Audacity unfortunately.
