I think if that's what you have it will get the job done if your on a budget. I bought a peterson strobo-flip some time back for better setups, it works ok. It's a slight learning curve from using a tu-2 for so long.

More info on this jamtrack? Existing music or are you programming drums or something? I use a ton of different programs messing around.

Hey guys, I've been a quasi-lurker here for a while but I've always felt a bit too awkward to start posting here as a habit. Anyways, since this is pretty much the friendliest place on TB, I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips on mixing/syncing tracks on Audacity or point me towards a more intuitive program. I've been trying to make a jamtrack for myself but I've ended up creating a pretty monstrous cluster**** in the process.

Hi, welcome! I agree with what's already been said, Reaper is a very good option for a free DAW. Good quality, relatively easy to use, plenty of decent VST based plug-ins available free or cheap.
I use the Korg Pitchblack too and I`m completely happy with it. I tune down to C with no problem in tracking.

Stopped by Fuller's vintage guitars today. Had some sweet grestch basses and 2 dusty hill p basses. All sounded great especially the dusty hill basses. Also played a uke bass… ridiculous…ly awesome. It sounded HUGE. Sounded like a double bass. Seriously, if you guys get a chance play one do it.

I want that black and maple single coil precision. If it were the walnut stain looking type...I might asking you for their phone number right now. honestly, I have never played one, I just love the way they look. I could make it sound good, for that level of mojojojo.

Speaking of P basses, I played a Squier VM the other day. Great sounding, great feeling. I could definitely see myself owning one.
I've always wanted some kind of P bass. I love the sound of a nice P but I can never get along with their necks.

i can see my next bass being a short scale SG bass with a rick bridge pup, and the one after that being an old school Epiphone Rivoli for that delicious semi-hollow Animals tone that QOTSA shamelessly rip off. heeell yeah.

Welcome! That rat king was pretty awesome. Although it was just a standard RK that I had Ry add a clean blend on to it. I unfortunately had to sell it as I was pretty much unemployed at the time. After a ton of testing and A/B'ing with my other Rats I found that even though the added features were cool I just used my other two Rats more and it didn't make sense to have 3 rats. Now that I'm employed again one he first things I did was order the demon king (custom color, clean blend, and had the footswitch order switched) since I liked that RK so much I wanted some of the same features but with a different sound so the DK seemed like a good option for it. I'm stoked for it.
Remember how we were talking about doing a Dropbox thing for tunes to share?

On a side note I got an SVT-3pro in trade so I'm gonna go check that out tonight through the rig. I don't really have high hopes but we'll see. Also I'll be getting my Acoustic 450 back finally and dropping off the Traynor tomorrow. It's good to have amps again.
