ughhhhh

I get it that people are stupid shjts, but I wish people would quit glorifying ridiculously stupid behavior.

Smoke weed? no worries. Drink booze? no worries.

But, come on, fvcking cough syrup? Robo tripping will make you Anna Nicole Smith fvcked and dumb. It's abusing pharma which is not good.

I was experimental when I was younger, I've done everything under the sun. Luckily, I came out of it with zero addictions and only a hankering for greens and booze.

(rant not aimed at anyone here...aimed at the makers of the documentaries)

I don't think your negativity aimed at the documentary maker is well placed. Anyone with a 5th grade education knows that opiates are one of the most dangerous drugs out there and also one of the most addictive. We also all know that Dixie abuses his body by drinking the stuff all the time.

I think it's much less "we're advocating using cough syrup recreationally" and "here's a heavy musician everyone loves, let's make a funny video with him."

I dated a music education major from her senior year of College through her becoming a middle school teacher in Florida and an elementery teacher Kentucky then we broke up. Anyway I always tried to get her to explain keys and some basic theory and harmony concepts that I had no idea how to articulate. But she could never understand what I wanted to know, and I know I couldn't explain what I really didn"t know what I was asking for, but I new it was called Key, and she would say you just know. Shady bXcth so glad she is gone. But I wouldn't give up and just found the right books and stuff on the internet and that helped me out a lot.

LOL!!!!

Sure.

I realize it's all about intended audience. But we're talking about Youtube here. And a million bazillion young kids. And plenty of them that never thought of drinking the cough syrup from their parents cabinets to get high.

It's irresponsible, imo.

Because it's not just being shown, it's being glorified.

My problem is that assume everyone is stupid. I need to get over that. But then I walk outside and BAM!! Dumbasses everywhere. LOL.

I do get what you're saying, but journalists/photographers/documentary makers don't get to do whatever they want and not be responsible for the content they are delivering.

I think the violence of man type films, scares and creeps me out more than anything, like it could happen, and I can see how they can be a learning tool for sickos for sure. Auspex definitely skip this one. But I love it for some reason.

I have two phasers on the board now, small stone nano and the nobels phaser i got from samsquanch. Nano goes before the delay,, nobles after. Huge, loud, strange washes of swirly madness.

Janitor is it all straight now, was it just a bit of dust/dirt on the one knob? I had that pedal for such a short time, I felt terrible when you said one of the pots was scratchy. I think I like a phaser to be uber simple for since having the small stone but that Nobels and VFE could pull off some crazy stuff for sure. Hope it is working good for you now.

Here's where people shake their heads at me.

I love over the top ****...but it's the insane stuff that borders on realism that freaks me out.

The Rob Zombie movies were great examples. Rape and murder all for the sake of being sickos.

Did you guys see The Strangers? I was legitimately creeped out by it when I saw it in theaters. A couple off the beaten path, taking a honeymoon in a vacation home in the woods....and in turn get stalked by a couple creeps.

Yeah, man i cleaned it up and no problems. I dig it!

Inhumanity is way more disturbing than any boogie man. Because it exists. Most new horror movies I just don't like. I'm a sucker for oldies. I HATE cheap scares.

Like 1000 corpses. Didnt really dig rejects. Although. The band in rejects, they made a whole fake album for them. It's actually got some really neat songs on it. Didnt like the Halloween remakes for the same reason as laz... they defined what Michael Meyers was. Made him just another serial killer.

Most recent movies that I really dug were evil dead and cabin in the woods. I like over the top Asian style gore. Realistic stuff can mess with my head. Job hazard I guess.
