I've heard a bunch of people call us Hipster Doom for awhile. I think it mostly had to do with that we didn't look very "metal" in person.

people have called us that before too.. drummer wears plaid and band shirts, i wear skinny jeans and my guitarist is a short-hair with glasses and an elliot smith tattoo..

People used to label The Sword the same way. I think it wears off after a while.

Ok, I'm really GASin for a 71 Chevy C-10. It's actually my dream truck.
Gonna start saving. It's time!
I'd settle for any GM or Dodge 63-72, really.

Mine would probably be primer... haha

Those 69-72 Chev/GMC trucks are the boobies. My grandfather had one sitting in his yard when i was a teenager, was just getting ready to ask him what he wanted for it when he sold it to some guy for waaayyyy less than i was willing to pay :/

my band posted a song from our upcoming 12" EP today. It's not doom, and probably doesn't have the sound that you like, but hey.. check it out if you like crust/d-beat/neo-crust/etc..



It'll be printed on white vinyl; songs on one side, etching of the coverart on the other. looking so much forward to releasing it I'm about to lose my mind..

My grandparents had one that was a bit older than this. It was a beat-to-**** farm truck. I think it was 3 on the tree and it had wooden floorboards in the bed that were stained with decades worth of deer blood.

By the time I was a teenager it was on its last legs. We'd fire it up and it would backfire so loud you could hear it echo off the hills on the other side of the valley. A farmer that lived close to a mile away said he could hear it.

We had a Chevy truck like that when I was little, an early 60s one. It looked like it was made out of rust. I remember the seatbelts didn't work and every once in a while the passenger side door would just fly open on the highway. My grandpa had a similar looking early 70s GMC then that was kept up a lot nicer, but had a metallic pea soup green color.

I grew up hangin out at a dragstrip with a bunch of crazy a-holes. So not having a loud beat up v8 that runs awesome is weird for me.

Definitely digging this Squier. Tunes down surprisingly well. Got it as close to C-standard as my ear can get and the tension holds up pretty good!

Love my Squier VM P. Plays great. I need someone to help me set it up good for BEAD. Or just quit being lazy and do it myself. haha.
Everytime I file out a nut, I can't seem to get it to sound right. Probably more to deal with pickup height.

My toast special 15" came in, time to compare to the Altec Lansing 418. Hoping for some more bass response, so when I make a cab for it, I can have a bass 15" and treble 15"
