however, their tone and the moods they can create with all those sounds and structures is pretty friggin sweet. they might shrug it off like its a joke, but they take that stuff seriously. its all mapped out very precisely and orchestrated to a T.

Most of the time...we've been on a 'hiatus' for a bit so Duane could do the new Tomahawk stuff. He has 3 EGC's...the one he plays with us has 3 P-90's...cool guitar :)

I love Jesus Lizard as well...Duane's an old buddy. I play for a band called Legendary ShackShakers...he did over 3 years with us before taking a hiatus for Mike Patton, who to be fair, has a lot more money than us :D

Duane did all the guitar on our last record "Agridustrial"

Kidding, Duane's rad...best tour roomie I've ever had...he just reads books and talks to his kid on the phone...I can hang with that :)

My dads 72 Skylark was a fun car. First car I ever drove. Rust bucket. He took it to the track to race in points, he did well with that car. Pretty consistent.
He sold it to some dude, who wanted it just for the motor. The dude hopped in to drive it and put his foot thru the floor hahahaha

Well I wear skinny jeans and plaid shirts regularly, I also need to get glasses soon. Most people seem to be pretty upset when they see that Bongripper isn't a bunch of old metal dudes. I just find it annoying that anyone with a distortion pedal and a guitar or bass just thinks that playing one riff over and over makes them a drone band. I guess it does technically, but then they are just a ****** drone band.



Most of the drone stuff I like is from bands that will actually play something outside of the drone, I like a drone that leads into a song or big riff or something.

Also what's wrong with songs/albums about satan? :hiding:

No man. You can dress smart and not be a hipster. I think of hipsters as fashionably dressed posers. They always try to one up you. They try to make you feel uncool on purpose. "What do you mean you've never heard of slaughtered unicorn? They've been out for a long time now. Do you not like good music? " (or similar)

I love me some old trucks gramps had a 55 chevy with real oak bed.

Screw you back, Panda boy, since you get your panties in bunch over nothing. I think you are missing the point, that we are talking poser nonsense, not what music you like. I think the dressing up for music is lame and poserish, just be yourself. We were all talking the taking it too far stupid nonsense, not I hate a type of music. Be childish if you wish too and lame out a cool forum.

Lol, it was I, who called it Panda Metal. I cannot take credit for it, though, I read it somewhere.

I thought over here we prided ourselves on being musically open-minded and not crapping on music just because it's not our thing. I expected better.

I guess I was mistaken.
