Yeah, Neon Warship are the best new heavy band from Dayton atm. Totally kick a$$. Everything Shindel has been in has been top notch.

Yeah, Oddly enough, The singer Brandon Hawk is prolly the best guitarist in the band even though he just sings/screams. He was the younger guitar prodigy type dude around town. They are almost too angsty, pissed off type stuff for me. I like a little more chug. I guess I'm getting old.

The other bass player has one. Pretty cool bass but weighs a ton. Pretty versatile and decent player.

I like it, but I'd feel so weird playing a v bass. I feel like it has to be a guitar to be a v.

Yeah I posted about those old Korina Ibanez basses in the last thread. Too bad their rarity drove prices through the roof. So weird how it happened to the Korinas and none of the other basses. Even super clean Black Eagles still only go for $1400 or so.

Great basses. Loudest passive bass I've ever owned. I've had two of them. One when I was 17 that I traded for a case of beer. I think it was at least Heineken.

Bought one last year that was a little much for my 48-year-old flabby back, so I sold it. Weighed 15 pounds on my scale, might was well have been 50.

I did not intend to make them sound similar nor is this a "is one better than the other" thing, just demonstrating how I set them up and used them....today
