one man's gear fairy is another man's mr. personality.
I now want an EHX Bassballs on my pedalboard, by the way. I blame you, Sam.
For THAT price? Doesn't seem likely. Parts of it might be from a 64 or it could be a scam. Unless the whole back side is burnt off or hollowed out or something, I've never seen a 64 Jazz bass in that kind of condition go for that little. Doesn't smell right to me, but maybe the person just really needs some crack.
Seems like most of you guys use boutique dirt boxes, but I'll mention this anyway. At practice last night I dusted off the ODB-3 and plugged it in. I put it away months ago, finding it too noisy and finicky to dial in a good tone. I hadn't used it with the new rig yet so I thought I'd give it a shot. Surprisingly thick, brutal heaviness. Even got compliments from the other band members. I guess the amp makes all the difference with that pedal.
I'm happy with $280. Like I said I'll hook you up for going out of your way homeboy, with cash or other. Got some stuff from All Good fest you outta try...
that's nothing. I want a Lake Placid Blue Jazz Bass...
if anyone see one let me know. Squier is fine as well. trying to keep it under $500
need a little help if theres any fender guys. im trying to sell my T-bird, i got a trade offer for a "Fender '59 P-Bass Reissue Custom Shop light relic". i did a little googling and it says these things go for like 3k new? is that possible/true?
would it be worth it to maybe flip the T-bird for this and try and sell this thing instead? somewhat intriguing.
For the price, it seems shady. Could be the deal of a lifetime, you know, your retirement fund.
I'll keep an eye out for the LPB. Do you like the more blue or more green version of LPB?
I posted about those way back and was flogged! I like Hartke gear.
