Because generally speaking, people don't celebrate crapping all over each other.Southern Pride isn't about being a racist or a bigot. I am far from those things. Being southern means you take things in. You look at things a little differently. I guess it's part redneck. We always had a giant cable spool in the back yard for a table. But, we didn't hate on people. Just the opposite. Just as I said earlier, people help each other. I remember walking through a neighborhood as part of a promotional campaign for a new restaurant. A colleague and myself were invited inside this lady's house for sandwiches and tea. You guys can't tell me this would happen north of the mason dixon. (maybe Canada

)
The impression I get from northerners is, they are the neighbors that will be staring at ya from through the blinds across the street. They'll never come introduce themselves. They bring their dog over to crap on your yard.

Of course, I know this isn't the way everyone is, just as all southerners are not the motel 6. They ain't leaving the light on for ****. So, I know, it's all how you are raised. Maybe I am proud to be raised a certain way. I guess it's something I've just always associated with being from the south.
Whatever your stance on that is, I don't care. We are all here to talk about the doom/stoner stuff. I guess I just got a little more southern sludge in the blood than some, that's all.
