I wouldn't mind that 370 he got, but I am looking into the Kustom DE300HD, the Peavey T-max and if I get the money the orange BT 500


I have found so far the bass terror is hard to find used locally and holds it's value verrrry well. On the other hand I got a tiny terror for $275 and sold it for $325, they do not hold their value well at all.

The acoustics here I've seen either look like they were gigged in a dump, over priced or just too under powered to really merit consideration. But I do keep a look out, and since I live between DFW and Austin I basically drive the music highway of Texas every few weeks.

Since I have the tube head, I am looking for something with headroom for some good lows with a good cab, not something I intend to push into drive. I plan to use my sansamp as like a second channel to the amp and my modulation effects through it. Of course if I used it by itself my muff and sansamp would give me enough grit.

speaking of grit, garlic cheese grits be a great southern food breakfast lunch or dinner.

Edit: I haven't got to play the BT yet, but I have a few minor worries because like no one has one, and of the few threads concerning it, there's a couple very angry customers who've gone through numerous replacements.

The T max is AWESOME. I wish I never dumped mine, which is a theme about me...

lol i was just kidding. i dig some of the bad recording stuff but not most of it. i do enjoy old mayhem somehow, but thats about as far as i go with "lets record in this cave and kill each other" black metal. but for some reason black metal creates this atmosphere that i really like, definitely makes up for most of the horrible playing and poor recording.

A lot of old black metal sounds that way because they didn't know what they were doing.

Though Mayhem is rather minimalist, even Emperor's first album had some stuff that's actually pretty difficult to play on it, let alone their last one (in which they'd entirely moved away from the horrible production).

To me it's like any other kind of music. I love some of it, and can't stand some of it. I feel that way about metal as a whole. My favorite bands are metal, but there's a lot of metal music out there that I really prefer not to listen to.

It's more about individual bands than genres. I don't like most power metal I've heard, but I do like Blind Guardian. I don't like most death metal I've heard, but I do like Death and At the Gates.

Black metal and stoner/doom metal are my favorite genres, and I don't even like most black metal I've heard.

On the subject, just got Borknagar's new album, and it is fun.

I read your comments in threads, and a guy here in town who I met here also have a T-max and refuses to sell it. Solidified my opinion in them. I think everyone who owns one feels this way as I only found one and it's not close at all.

I've never heard any black metal I liked. I'm not a fan of the vocals usually and fizzy guitars. But if anyone has a favorite great Black metal song or band to share let me know,

I did watch "before the light takes us" on Netflix, count grishnakh is kind of crazy.

I wish I still had it.. it sounded good, was pretty light, etc.

Solid state with fuzz circuit, the dude from DFA 1978 used it I think. I'd take the guitar version because it's the exact same but with tremolo and stuff added.

I'm trying to get that peavey and the other amps for the heck of it, but he's really hard to work with, for having such a "I need to get rid of this" ad.

I'd the head your talking about is anything like the peavey bass 400 you have pictured $200 or less. And it's not a very good amp IMO.
