How about what do you own that you will never, ever sell?
My ATK is definitely here to stay, as well as my bluebeard fuzz. I really dig my SVT-CL but I could see myself trying out some other tube amps, especially if the Traynor YBA-300 gets good reviews.
I will probably own my EarCandy BassBombs until the day I day. In fact I'll likely eventually order 2 more somewhere down the line. I still can't get over just how amazing they sound and how loud they can get. They will take anything you can throw at them and sound fantastic. Tim may eventually be making a 300w tube amp that I would love to get my hands on if he does.

That's exactly like the one that slipped though my fingers here in town, could of had it for $150. Oh well, was just going to turn it into a BEAD ax anyway and would not of got used a lot.

Passive electronics are grounded to the bridge, which then connects the strings to ground...and through your body via your fingers on the strings. If anything is not properly grounded your guitar becomes the dumping ground for these errant currents running around. Touch your strings and zap. From the slightest tingle to the heart stopping jolt it goes into your body.

I have real trouble letting any of my stuff go.. I've only ever sold one bass, my Ibanez SR500, and I still regret it sometimes. Probly wouldn't get any more playing time, but it was such a nice playing instrument.
My Rickenbacker 4003 and my Matamp rig won't be going anywhere, thats for sure. Probably none of my effects either.
My ATK300 with upgraded pickup will also stay. It has a cool tone, but I find it somewhat lacking in real low end, and boosting the bass on the onboard EQ doesn't do it for me. I used to think about putting in a neck pickup in it until I got my ric..

For now tho I'm going to experiment with stringing it with this 67-49-35-22 set I ordered and tune it up to C instead of down for doing chords and getting my noodle on.
I'm GASing a bit for a Fender Roadworn Precision thats been hanging on the wall of a local shop I used to work in. I stepped in a little bit this summer and I'm considering taking the P instead of pay if I get a good deal. It is so resonant and has sweet tone and great feel. And I love the way it makes me groove!

Hey GHI. It's actually the ATK750s that have the neck pickup. The 700s just have the bridge pick up 
However a friend of mine owns a 750 Koa and says he really likes the extra options the neck pup adds.

To be fair I haven't really had a go with my ATK trough a proper rig. It may very well be that I won't be missing any lows when running it with my Mat.
Oh, I just got my Sound City 50 Plus back from service and set up my home rig with a swedish built 1x15. I'll be sure to post some pics soon!

I run my ATK EQ with rolled back highs, maxed mids and almost maxed lows with my SVT with rolled back highs, bass at 4:00 and mids around 2:00 and get lots of angry growling plus plenty of low end.
The bandcamp link has recordings from the previous bassist (father of fires) which he used his SB-1. I posted some new rough tracks in the old thread with the ATK. I should rerecord our new stuff now that it's all ironed out.

I'm going to steer away from bass talk and throw this out there. Is there a better drummer than JP? even with just two drums he just nails everything.

Very cool stuff. How do you guys feel about Clutch? Personally they could be my favorite band ever just because the massive amount of material they have that I really enjoy, although the last two albums I wasn't too impressed with. However most of the people I know in the "stoner" circle don't care for them very much.

You can't leave a clutch show without a giant smile and an ass kicking (even with the newer stuff) 1995-2005 era clutch will never be beaten for me, that was the pinnacle of music in my opinion. S/T, Elephant Riders, Jam Room, PRF, Blast Tyrant and Robot Hive. Name a band that can match that output in quality and quantity, throw in all the b-sides during that time too, 24 Earth Years, Big News III, Guild of Mute Assassins, the list goes on.
