Nice OLP. I've been thinking about MM alot lately haha
Going to see Saviours tomorrow with a couple of awesome local bands. Saviours better bring their A game :)
Really diggin my Rat clone right now. Can't wait to throw a bass eq with it and bring some of those lows back.
I miss my Green Muff. I think I'm gonna start looking for an alternative. My Polemaster brings the gnarly. But I need to be able to bring some smooth thickness again.
I'm still kicking around Musket or W&C Pickle Pie.

an EQ pedal won't really help, but what WILL help is a BBE Sonic Maximizer. I run a normal rat, and put the BBE at the end of the chain(right before my amp) with both knobs dimed...brings back ALLLLLLLLLLL the low end and then some. Feels like a kick to the chest.

Not to sound like a techy-douche, but a BBE doesn't put low end back into your EQ. What it actually does is send the high frequencies 1st, and milliseconds later, the lows. In turn, you tone will sound more highs, and lows. Alot of people think they're "turd polishers", but I think they work well as a rig addition.

Whatever it does exactly...is FINE by me. I love mine. I hear the difference and that's all that matters to me. Mine is always on.

So what brands are you guys loyal to? What are you GASing for?

I've decided I'm going to go Ibanez only in terms of basses. I've just played so many inexpensive basses of theirs that I absolutely loved. My current main bass is an ATK700 I picked up for $300 and it is the most fluid playing bass I've ever picked up.

Barring funds I'm planning on trying to start putting together an Ibanez collection of mostly older basses. Right now I'm GASing hard for an Ibanez RB924. I didn't know they existed until I saw Neurosis at MDF and now I have to have one...

I'm in love with my Eden products. I have the WP100 preamp and the 410 XLT cab and just don't feel like myself playing through anything else (I have another rig for practice, but that doesn't count).

Bass-wise, I really like the tone I get out of my Warwick Corvette but I wish I had a Spector Euro 5. The Warwick sounds like a beast but the Spectors just play flawlessly and comfortably.

I just picked up the EBS wah-one pedal. Really digging that too.
