At the risk of adding politics... he's become such an insane caricature of himself. About 10-12 years ago I'd listen to his radio show and he was... completely different, to put it lightly. He was more of a "common sense" guy. Conservative to be sure, but always tried to argue from a "let's think this through" perspective. Due to work schedule I stopped listening, then caught him on Fox News when he got there several year later. I was aghast. What the hell happened? Where did that rational, thinking man's conservative go? Who was this bloviating, bombastic, loudmouth shrieker? I don't think he is at all. Sure, what he says is often idiotic to most of us, but considering what he was and what he is, I think he's a marketing genius. He found himself a niche and has made millions off it. That's not idiocy.he is such an idiot.
