Yeah wasn't sure what you meant by it came in silver. The RB950 I have came in marine burst, cherry sunburst and wine burst. The similar one that had PJ pups I think only came in cherry sunburst. The RB824 came in "crystal pearl".

PS do you guys plan on recording soon? I'd love to have some decent quality recordings of your stuff I really dig it!

Yeah the one I remember was almost exactly like yours passive with the two humbuckers in white or silver with black binding, it was in a catalog but I can't find it, oh well. And as for the band Thanks and I personally have 8 riffs saved up recorded with acoustic and electric waiting to be put to songs. And I just talk to my friend who has a studio yesterday about coming to record. Hoping for winter or spring to track it for summer sale. Full album too no EP or demo.

Cool man! I like your guys' style. Excited to hear a full length from you.

Little personal news from me, the woman and I have decided we've had just about all we can tolerate with Maryland and really have not enjoyed living down here. We're going to go back to our roots and move to Pittsburgh where we know we will be much happier. Telling the band today... I have to leave the band for all the right reasons but I still can't help feeling like a giant douche since things have been going so well, especially since I became such good friends with them.

Gotta start looking for jobs/places to live/bands to play with...

so.. I keep listening to those Monolith Magma preamp clips.. whaddyall think?
I dig what it does, the only thing that worries me is that some older amp styles kinda were a bit plunky sounding, and I cant tell if it would have plunk or KATHUNK!!!

Amps, just like most of our tools in creating music, are impossible to fully evaluate from sound clips and computer speakers. I think it sounds awesome and would love to own one but have no idea how it would sound in person. Maybe if Red Fang starts touring with them I can catch them and see it in person...

I think it is one of the better sounding preamps. I have never really been impressed by many pres other than the Magma and the Fender TBP-1. But for me I will keep lugging my tube rigs for as long as i can, there will be lots of time to experiment with lighter weight SS rigs later on.

Ladies, I have a situation at hand. A good situation.

I posted an advertisement on Kijiji looking for people to jam on some stoner metal/doom. A few lame replies and a pissy guy later, this guy pops up out of nowhere. I thought all hope was lost yet again. He tells me what he's using for an amp (SUNN) and effects, then tells me he's personally influenced by High on Fire, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Kyuss, and Clutch.

Since this excited me, I post a status update on fb saying I finally found a guitarist to jam on some stoner metal and just needed another guitarist and a drummer. My cousin who has been in Newfoundland says, "Wait 3 weeks." I nearly s*** my pants. I knew he was moving home, but I didn't think he liked this music. He's more of a death metal/progressive guy, or so I thought.

Then I think to myself, "Wait... a drummer close to me posted an ad saying he wanted to jam on some stoner rock/doom." I shift through my e-mails, find the conversation we were having and asked if he was still interested. I told him I finally found two guitarists. Hopefully he e-mails me back with a damn good answer.

Is it finally my time?! I haven't been in a band in a year or two now. I'm getting rusty.
