I have been thinking about getting an HPF but I was wondering what it will do in combination with a POG?

I mean I know it will filter out the frequencies but will I hear an effect from the POG on the lower notes?

No you should not hear any audible difference in tone. just more clarity and a tighter low end, possibly more clean volume out of your amp and speakers.

You can't just "check it out" man...You have to go find some herb grown by a one legged hippie in the mountains of BC. Bury the weed along with an original pressing of the record in the backyard for 1 month. Then, on a full moon you dig that s*** up. Smoke out of a bong filled with holy water, turn off all the lights and listen to the record with no distractions.

I like it, similar to the bluebeard once it's in the mix but a little more "brown" sounding and has a wider variety of tones than the bluebeard. With the tone bypass it sounds huge, but obviously you lose tone control...

While I applaud your devotion to said disc, I think he can enjoy it using a standard issue stoning.

Animals and Wish You Were Here are kind of a tie for me. Along with Hawkwind - Warrior on the Edge of Time and Hall of the Mountain Grill.
Actually Pink Floyd and Hawkwind in the 70s were on point.

I think of Dark Side and Wish You Were Here as gateway drugs to Animals.

I was just about to say Meddle is great too.
I like Wish You Were Here mainly for Welcome to the Machine. My fav Floyd tune. Richard Wright destroys.
