oh jesus,Hawkwind...
Doremi is just fantastic.Pride of dads record collection is an original pressing of Space Ritual on 2LP.He subtly hinted to me one day that I should have a look at 6 panel fold sleeve when 'under the influence'-dam good stuff.Animals is another one of the dad hand me downs.
Anyone else got a musical dad?
Here's a band my dad used to roadie for-Not doom, but criminally under rated

Only the Kingston Trio on reel-to-reel.:(

My dad is way into Hawkwind and Floyd. haha.
He would play the hell out of Animals and Warrior on the Edge of Time in his "office" on Sat nights when I was a kid. And Robert Calvert's Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters.
He likes his Robin Trower and all kinds of other stuff too.

I need to get some things in order to turn him on to some new stuff. I know I could show him some things he would really like.

Oh yeah,he's been showing me that one since I was 5.One only needs to know a little about the history of Hawkwinds bass players to work where I go the name 'Ian' from.
I show my dad plenty of music.Sure enough,he loves the Samsara Blues Experiment

Edit: and I suppose the kind of conferences had in your dads office are like my dads,a 'conference of the birds'
Personally, when our religion breaks off into groups,I believe I'll be in the Church Of Cisnerism

Ian haha nice.
Ah, Samsara Blues Experiment. Good idea. Yeah, I think he would dig that. No screaming, kinda trippy, good guitar work.
I may have to burn him some CDs and send them to him.

Sometimes I would go stay at a friends house over night, then come home the next day and the house would smell like skunk...

Awesome book. Have you read Blood Meridian?

Yes sir. I've read just about everything he has written. Supposedly they are making a movie but there is no possible way they can cover the scope and violence in the book. It is doomed from the start. Not to mention casting the Judge would probably be difficult
