Man, I miss a couple days and I miss a couple of iterations of the thread.

Got my hpf pre, sounds good, makes everything just a little tighter, but doesn't mess with my sub low end like I was afraid of. Even my massive octave delay drops still sound massive. And I feel slightly better knowing that certain potentially damaging frequencies are being filtered out. For the time being its a definite keeper, gonna try it on our guitar rigs and see what it does at our next practice.

Also started writting song #2 for the new record last week. Stuff is coming along really well, we're all real excited as how it's coming together.

Also super far back at this point. But in regards to Laz's question about taxes, we don't charge them via bandcamp. However, there's new PayPal rules/laws in effect and we're automatically being reported to the IRS because we met a few requirements (amount of transactions and dollar amount). We/I now are gonna have to file all of this via my taxes. It's gonna suck.

Ok, Finally had some time to Fuzz out the V4-B! Given our recent discussion of Fuzz Stacking here's a clip of Big Spider, Monolith Lodestone, and Rat King. I combined each in conjunction and featured each pedal alone. I tried to label the track when things kick on or off the best I could. If anyone's interested here's the other tracks I did today. Mostly just messing around, some riffs that I've been working on but really just playing with the head.

Dude it sucks. We caught it a month too late, otherwise we could have avoided all our problems. We have some friends and family helping us out with all the legal stuff.

It just sucks, we're still an unsigned non-touring band that is done just for fun. We're super lucky that so many people dig what we're doing and want to own our music and merch. It's just lame that there's all this governmental BS we're gonna have to go through now. Especially since no one in the band makes a dime for what we do, every cent goes back into putting out more merch, records, recording, mastering, and the very minor touring we do.

I got the HPF on my board tonight and did some tests. No discernible tonal difference, with the variable filter all the way down and the volume all the way up, which is good. I tried it at the beginning of my signal chain and the end, to see if I could verify Sam's feeling that it impacted his pedal performance (possibly due to headroom or gain staging changes, front loading the pedals with sub bass frequencies). I tried it with my Pickle Pie B and RAT+LS-2. If there was a difference, it was very subtle. Really difficult to tell, especially with the time gap between switching the signal chain around (including taking it out completely, for comparison). It may have a more pronounced effect at higher volumes, lower tuning or with stacking pedals, so it's not a definitive judgement. Just a really subjective observation based on 10 minutes of fiddling around in my home office at low volume.

From what I can tell, this unknown guy in Hollywood made a movie on a flip flop budget, not even a shoestring. Anyone it essentially attacked Islam and Muhammad (remember you cannot depict Muhammad). Anyways a trailer was put on youtube back in like June/July and made like no waves no meme or viral activity. Supposedly it was "released" in one theatre to a pretty much nonexistent audience for one showing (not even confirmed it was actually a feature length movie. The problem came when a Christian fundamentalist Egyptian guy used it to piss of Muslims and that Terry Jones crazy Quran burning pastor in Florida supported it (He apparently just said this to make waves because when told it was vaguely pornographic he dropped his "endorsement"). So from these little things a guy in Libya who was in control of some kind of minor league half ass fundamentalist group either fibbed to his followers or just got it wrong, and said the film was a serious Hollywood production that had a strong backing and nearly everyone in America watched the movie and loved it. So they went of the deep end and started protesting, and like any group of pissed off people quickly turned into a mob, fire and violence occurred and 4 people died. It was not a terrorist activity or action by the Libyan government, just a few dumb people making dumb decisions.

Oh My plan is once the warranty is up do something.BUT I think the issue wasn't with the cab's I tried the passive side of the amp and it was much smoother. But Now I face the issue of I had that thing pretty cranked and I was on the second floor of my parents house and knocking things off walls across the house, and didn't seem that loud to me at all, but everyone else was pissed of. So somethings wrong with me haha.

That said more thoughts on peavey amp. It's good, but I'd personally not spend over $50 on it, granted I'm cheap, but it just isn't worth it when you could get a new amp and color it with pedals etc. The active side is very grindy and nice but the fuzz is not better than anything you could get in a pedal and the distortion isn't that much different than the fuzz, but then you have the whole blend/stacking option and mixing the the two channels. Really needs the foot switch to make the versatility more controllable in a playing situation (it adds in the channel/boost/and fuzz in and out).

So in essence if you can get one cheap, get a foot switch (or have time to switch settings or just find a great tone it'll be a good backup however it's a big ass amp IMO and dated for a backup and paying much for. Speaking of the same one you showed me is on sale for $450 locally, people are crazy...

The radical Christians are just as bad as the radical Muslims.
I'm sure your average non-radical Muslim has more views in common with your average non-radical Christian than some hardliner preaching hate,and vice versa.
How about we start the new religion of Black Sabbath,with Vol.4 as our sacred text and Tony Iommi as our God?

Sorry guys,I just need some where vent with the safety of knowing no one's going to shoot me down here.

Playing louder is key to everything. Everything always sounds better louder. When I was messing with my RT at the last cover band gig it was doing ok. At the end of the night bar was empty and we turned up and the rat really started to shine then. Everything about my rig sounded 10 times better with that bump in volume at the end of the night. It still wasn't crazy loud but it was just enough for everything to really come together.
