The one my buddy had did not have a truss cover and i think the ones with out are a little better build/part quality. And owning and loving some de armond guitars, i will say they are built like tanks.

I keep getting to the point of almost pulling the trigger on a 215 and then changing my mind, I don't know what it is. The only ones I've played are always vintage though and they always sound flabby for my taste. Never had a chance to play anything modern, I'm sure there's probably a variety of sounds between brands and models.

You're talking about xjeremiahx. He helped me with a GC purchase. He is super easy to work with and mega nice. He hasn't been on too much because of GC blocking talkbass on the work computers.

thats why you replace them with eminence CB15s. 300 watts each, if you can blow those away you are truly a monster.
Ya know, my brother in law has been begging me to run with the idea of us building some **** together. This might be a fun opportunity since I don't actually NEED the cab immediately. He can build anything but I'd have no idea how to get him started.
