Stoner/Doom Bassist Thread Part 6

I always read people going nuts about proper engineering for cabinets based on the speaker specs, but I never see any actual plans anywhere other than far out full range cab designs, which I have no interest in. I wish there was some resource for simple cab designs for specific drivers with multiples of common sizes (115, 215, 210, 410, 112, 212, etc.). I know Eminence has those speaker enclosure design parameters attached to each speaker for various vented and sealed applications, but for the life of me even with their program and all the specs I can't ever seem to figure out how to make it just spit out a simple design that I could turn into a cut sheet and build.
 
Balog...yeah, but like I said, only full range style cabs. I mean like actual plans for those Eminence specs that are just different ported and sealed configurations for specific single and multiple drivers. Tweeters are my enemy.
 
each speaker can handle 300 watts, assuming its the only cab you run then each one of those speakers will see half of your amps output...therfore 600 watts.

having said that its the max excursion that you need to be careful of, most speakers will exceed their xmax well before you have pumped their max power handling...the higher the max excursion the less speaker fart.

Actually, you can get a full range 15/6/1, just a 15/6, or a 15 sub with neither a mid driver nor a tweeter.

Why would it be tricky? Its just new speakers in an old box. You can buy higher rated speakers from eminence they just cost more usually.

For the same reason one might encounter difficulty in pulling an engine from one car and trying to slap it into another?
