Don't know if this link will work, had to do some bass ackward way.

works and sounds cool.
seems to be more versatile but also lacking some definition than my OH See Demon.
Maybe it's because of the 15" speaker, dunno. I'm mostly playing 10s.
Still know that the overall cabdesign is more important than speakersize, but when it comes to dirt it always seems to matter more to me.

Awesome song! Your friend is a gnarly drummer! I`m really diggin` every part of this song. What movie is that sound clip from? I keep thinking it`s from a 90`s vampire movie involving gangsters turning into vampires. :eyebrow:

Anyway, thanks for sharing! Do they have a whole album out?

They did do an EP a couple years ago. They have their debut LP coming out March 31st.

It sounds best thru my 10's also. Also sounds killer with the Ric. I think it likes pickups with a lighter output I.E. not very hot. And the bass I used is super hot.

Everyone here should either own a Bluebeard or a Rat Tail.

I must be the rebel. I don't own either one.

Seriously though. I will try to find a way to get some clips up. With or without a drummer and guitar player. My riffs need to be heard. Plus, I think my rig sounds damn good with what I do have. IMO :smug:.

Also, I don't think I ever shared, but my wife and I are expecting youngin #2 and if he doesn't come today, he will be here tomorrow. Horns Up! \m/\m/

There are no venues here. The closest is Santa Cruz, about an hour drive away. I usually miss everything though, because I don't keep track, until someone tweets about it the day of or something. To be completely honest I hardly ever go to live shows if I'm not playing. It's a character flaw/anxiety thing, I used to drive 2+ hrs all the time to see bands, I need to work on it. It doesn't help that I hardly know anyone who shares the same taste in music as me, apart from my band mates in Cold Mourning. They're all 10+ years older than me though and usually can't get away from family to go to shows. My wife would probably go and sit in the back of the room on her smart phone all night if I asked.

Speaking of local shows, one of the drummers I've been talking to said if I'm into Doom Metal I should check out his friend's DOOOOM band that's playing tomorrow in town at some place called "Casa Del Pollo".

So...yeah. There you go.

Also, I am curious. How do you guys keep track of what local shows are coming into town that you want to see? So far I've resorted to occasionally checking the websites of every venue in the area, but that is like 10+ websites and its really annoying.

The Pittsburgh City Paper (the free paper, not the Post Gazette) is great for highlighting mid-to-large shows around town. Small shows are real hard to find if you don't know people. Its ironic cuz bands throwing small shows have no idea how to get the word out, theres tons of bands playing and tons of people looking for music to watch and no connection. I hear Facebook is really good too, local groups n'at.

We only have one good venue with bands we're into...The Pyramid Scheme. I saw Weedeater & Bison BC there, missed Russian Circles, Young Widows is coming, Wino last fall/early winter...lots of'em. So I just follow Pyramid Scheme on facebook and that seems to work for me. Can't afford to hit Detroit or Chicago shows nor do I trust the Vanagon to make a trip like that.

Rat Tail rules, hands down. I have it on almost all the time. On the list for the Bluebeard though, pretty stoked about getting one.

There is a certain p-bass that'll be on it's way here also. I scooped up that Lakland natural/maple BG off the classifieds...come on tax refund!
