Stoner/Doom Bassist Thread Part 8 - Insert witty title...

Everyone here should either own a Bluebeard or a Rat Tail.

Does Grey Stache count? I'm curious as to the tonal differences between the Grey Stache and Bluebeard, if they're both muffy clones.

The Rat Tail is pretty much the next item on my g.a.s. list, but I've held back because I have absolutely no purpose for it. Thinking maybe at low-gain settings it would be a good replacement for my Ibanez PD7 low OD. Kinda want it just to say I have a Rat, and for guitar noodling. But thats a pretty pricey "nice to have" kinda item that has no immediate need.

Just got my new(to me) Fender 300 tube head!! Just got done throwing out 3 bags of foam peanuts. Time to put in the tubes and try it out!!

I own a Rat Tail (and a Stache) but have yet to try a Blue Beard.

Congrats man! I almost bought one of those a couple years ago. I think I may have seen one played in person once or twice but can't fully remember. But eyeballkid gives that one his stamp of approval so I know it is a killer amp.

Nope, and welcome home SVT!!

yes welcome home indeed. Sounds great through the 210, can't wait to try it with the 810.

I think I'll record some clips through the 210 with the SVT and GT200, then do the same thing with the 810.

Also I'll get some clips of the Four Eyes fuzz for you guys. i think you will like it.

edit: looking out my window, there are two bright objects to the west. Venus and Jupiter are clearly visible tonight, really cool to see that.

And yes, to the bottom right corner of the GT200 is an Optimus Prime Mr. Potato Head..Spudimus Prime
