Stoner/Doom Bassists 51: Back To The Future

Damn MC, I might need a some recording pointers. These tracks are good enough to be released. I think I'm on number 6 or 7 on those three songs.

Any info you can get me on what your recording process is would be appreciated. Getting bummed that our only recordings are too rough to release to anyone.

I forsee Vega on the review pages soon. I'd burn one to this!

So it's been a while since I've been on here (they've been cracking down on internet access at work lately) but Nick asked me to come post this lil review on here:

So I got 5 minutes with my new Ibanez ES2 delay at lunch today. Initial impressions are very positive, good tone, the modulation can be very musical or very crazy, the oscillation switch will be a god send to noise fanatics, and the delay time slider is actually heavier duty then I thought and was lead on to believe. Downsides: yes the tap tempo is a PITA, and it eats batteries (lasted 5 minutes with a freshie, I didn't have a power supply at the house). While it did sound really good for the price on guitar I have a feeling this thing will shine on bass and noise boards. Honestly haven't had an easier delay to use for noise, definitely a keeper for that.

Alot of what I found mirrored Ron's findings, but I'm going to put it through some more tests. I am going to run it through the bass board tonight and run it through a noise setup this weekend and hopefully record a video demo of all of it this weekend.

I think he's just inspired by him.

Hmmmm keep us posted I really think this may be the guy for me. Delay time on a slider and a oscillation button, Sounds legit.

Yeah, it's for the best. The funds will be used to buy plane tix for the family for my sister's wedding this summer.

I really never play the bass and with the addition of the Squier, it'd just be sitting in it's case. Figure someone else ought to get some use from it. :)

If all goes according to plan, I'll also be the owner of some 15" Paiste Rude hi hats by the end of the evening. :D

I'm the same with all my gear. Basses/Amps/Cabs/Pedals. If they're not getting used they gotta go.

I've got a few cheap things that I keep for sentimental value outweighing the cost of selling.

Although I might have some major shake up's in my collection if I end up going through with this ECG thing.
