Last one, this is still a work in progress. This is my everything else/home board.

I still need to pick up a looper, and one of those Joyo power supplies. Also possibly a reverb, and maybe switch the freeze for a superego.

Sweet boards guys. Mine is at the practice spot otherwise i'd post a shot. Picked up a wovenhand cd from a used book store yesterday. Good ****. I popped it in the car yesterday and my wife asked who it was. I told her and she says "oh yeah these guys are great, i used to have one of their albums. The singer used to be in 16 horsepower. She's got good taste!

How about you guys, do your significant others share your taste in music?

Moved some things around this morning. Got an EB volume to throw on there till I get an AMT Little Loudmouth. Probably picking up a Pharaoh this week.

Grabbing the 400+ I've been using at practice as soon as my Strategy sells...

Me and my girl like a few of the same bands but the list is small. Deftones,M83,Beastie Boys,80`s pop. She`s not a fan of the heavy or screamy stuff.

How do you like that SS/BS Hawk? Can you get a variety of sounds out of it or no?

I first met my girlfriend at a bar after seeing Nomeansno from Canada. I was waiting in line behind her and overheard her talking **** about the DJ. like "he started out decent with Black Flag, Sabbath and Misfits, but now he's playing ****ing Walking on Sunshine!". Needless to say I was all :eek: :eek: :eek: and immediately introduced myself.

I'm seeing Woven Hand this summer!

It's a bit "sputtery", I don't think thats a word, not a huge variety of tones. Today I was blasting it w/the DOD and was digging that. They're super cheap used, check one out.

There's almost nothing my wife likes that I wouldn't listen to. We're both big post-punk fans. I actually started talking to her cause she mentioned The Chameleons. I've gotten her into Electric Wizard, she loves Naam, Marriages, Russian Circles, Om, so I got pretty lucky.

My Girlfriend listens to more pop and alternative rock/metal than anything else. She doesn't like the majority of the stuff I listen to because she "Can't understand it" or it's "too loud and crazy", but she does like Volbeat, Deftones, Ghost, Katatonia, Opeth, Primus, Tool, etc. Punk, Post-Punk and Classic Rock, Alternative.

She likes The Sword, Baroness and Witchcraft, but it's funny because she doesn't know who they are. I'd be listening to them and she'd asked "Who's this? They're good! I like this." or some such remark, and I'd smile because I'm slowly winning my war to convert her to a full-blown metal head.

She likes the Black Sabbath / Ozzy songs she's heard on the radio or on TV, and she likes that (that's a win in my book)
and she "Tolerates" Rush, Dio and Iron Maiden... but she hates the high-pitched vocal style of those bands (which I constantly question her on, because Dio and Dickenson are two of my favourite vocalists ever).

Old lady seems to dig the stuff I listen to, now me on her stuff, not so much lol.

NPD and some swag too.The VFE Enterpirse Phaser Junior arrived today and the sticker and t-shirt that was from Peter's Kickstarter program. Cool pedal not just phaser sounds it also has univibe sounds to it. Still trying to find how to set it close to how I set my Small Stone, as I only used the small stone around the 9 to 10 o'clock position. I like the univibey stuff you can do so much and phaser is my favorite modulation that I may still pick up a Nano small stone to sit next to it and have the best of both worlds. I have Boss Bass Chorus, and chorus just doesn't do much for me, so might dump that for another phaser.

We both like Latin dance music, Cumbias and so forth. Both like ska and mod music. Both like soul music and stone funk. (She don't go for James Brown though) Both like the Beatles. Both like flamenco and other gypsy music. Both like old swing jazz and New Orleans Creole.

We differ on just as much stuff. :-)
