Yes, I've got a couple that are really hard to sing and play. I've never really tried singing and playing before I joined this band, so it's a pretty new experience. I've gotten way confident with it the past few months.

The Sunn was from the band playing after us. The bass player used my 610 and I couldn't help but take a pic of this rig of awesomeness !

Thanks mate. No, in this track I was still playing on my Ampeg V7. Everything from this record was recorded with it. But we're recording some new material (with the GT200) and there's no doubt as to which one suits me better :)

No, it's the same amp. I just switched the cab for a green one to match my Green 610 when I got it.

Thanks, I know my part should have been louder but it was our first try making a video :D We'll be aware of that next time.

With my black metal band I have a couple.

With my doom band that I do vocals in... anything that the guitarist writes.

It's hard at first...mostly for the one doing the looping. They gotta make sure they start/stop the loop right or it fvcks everything up.

One of the guitarists in Catapult tonight tried to use his delay/reverb/looper pedal thing to play all the parts that are on the scratch recordings.

The results were not good.

The fEARfuls are pretty sweet, though different than the Dually. My '66 is deeper than a dually will be, the Dually is more efficient. Both are going to get in the same ball park concerning volume, the fEARful will just do that at 45hz.

Basically the fearful cabs make it sound like you are not playing through a cab at all. It's as close as playing through a DI as you can get. They do not have much coloration and they don't begin to roll off frequencies (low and high) as early as a more "traditional" cab. So if you want the sound of a traditional cab you will need to be able to have a good eq that would mimic that. The fearful designs also have better dispertion and will sound more consistent from various angles and distances compared to a mass produced cab. The last part is really the only thing that interests me. I don't need to go any lower or higher than what my current cab goes but i'd love better dispertion, my only option seems to be to low pass one side of my 810 but I have no idea how to do that plus I worry that the cab won't have enough highs if 4 of the speakers are low passed.

So a dually still rolls off the lows and highs like a traditional cab but has the dispersion?

I don't know exactly. It probably rolls off more than the fearfuls but not quite as much as traditional cabs since they use very high spec speakers. The dispertion is improved due to the vertically aligned speakers but since there is no dedicated mid driver it's not as good as the fearful line.

The Dually still has the dispersion characteristics of a 215. What it does have is efficently and light weight. Its more efficient than an ampeg 810 (louder with the same power), and weights about a third.

The thing to remember is a vertical 215 stack has better dispersion than an 810. Side by side drivers act like one wide driver. So the 10's in an 810 have the disperison characteristics of a 19" speaker. So the 810 will start to beam some where around 800hz. The 15's are closer to 1050hz. Doesnt seem like a big gap, but it is very noticable.

I think I would dig a basic 15. To still get a vintage vibe, would love to hear my YBA-200 through one.
