Stoner/Doom Bassists 54: Big Cabs and Nerd Bombs

It was almost exactly like that but black with real crappy flames I put on it when I was about 16. Just tried to find a pic but no luck.

EDIT:

Found it :)

That was pretty much my reaction too, lol.

Uuugh... My start up band project imploded. Our guitarist has some family health issues on the east coast. Now the bass player that I am playing with feels like just jamming on covers. Hrrrrm... I mean, in a way, its just fun to play, but I can't say that I am into it that much.

I am trying to focus on the positive. I have a space at the moment to play drums when I am not practicing bass.

Do you guys have a bass that takes the wind out of the sails of your other basses? I have a P and a J. I usually go back and forth quite a bit digging one more for a week or so, then the other and so on and so on. But man, lately I have just really been digging the solidness and power of the P. That, and it seems like I dig my pedals more through the P than the J. All of this is subject to change.

Ryder, I've been meaning to give you a call. I wanted you to come down and jam on drums, but then my old HS buddy emerged saying he wanted to play. Turns out he's awful, and we're still looking. :/

John (guitar) gonna be out of town on vacation this weekend, so we could try after that if you're still down to come down and jam out. We've acquired a few good cymbals, too. :)
