The nice thing about the Duallys and Bassics is that there are two driver options. 3015(non LF) which is a little tighter down low, less extended up top, but has a really nice upper mid range bite to it. 15PR400 with is a more vintage speaker, slightly more lows, smoother mid range, and extends a bit higher than the 3015.

For a guy (such as myself) who likes his highs. I feel the bassic design has plenty on tap with the 3015. When John k did his 215 build, both laz and I liked the 3015 better in comparison to the Faital.

Yep. The 3015 is not lacking by any means. Just a different flavor than the 15PR400. From what I have heard there is actually a second generation of Dually in the works, Dually T. Its a Dually loaded with the Faitals and a tweeter crossed over where they start to roll off. I should know more when Mark gets back from Europe.

I remember those clips...had a hard time deciding which I liked better...they both had some real strong points. My Bassic has a Faital and I love it, but those 3015's have a cool muscular thing about em for sure

I have no interest in a tweeter or mid driver. Very happy with my Dually :P

I do like how there are a lot of different options from the cabs though. I don't think I'd ever have any interest in owning a fearful, but my Dually does exactly what I wanted it to do when I ordered it.

The different cabs are just that, different and thats what they were designed to be. The fEARfuls are huge and extended, The fEARless are smoother, not as deep, and offer switchable mids. The "greenboy" line offers the "no compromise" greenboy take on full range cabs.

Choices are good. :)

Floor/Thrones/Bongripper last night was really awesome.

A lot of people there, all the bands played great. We brought out the full rigs (which we haven't done lately due to a bunch of crappy power situation basement shows). Heavy night, all the dudes in Floor are super nice dudes.

Fun times.

Doing some gigs in Denmark this week...so far I've blown one GK1001rb and an Ashdown 115 cab...I was thrilled when the rental company said they bring out an SVT2, but the damn thing is an SVT2Pro, which sound like poop...gonna see if they have anything else tomorrow.

Thinking about having my Warwick routed to add another pickup towards the neck. The stock pup is very close to position of a pbass pup, actually even witht he bottom leg of one, so it has a bit of that p sound with the Gibson humbucker rollyness bump. Was thinking one more pup in front of the stock one towards the neck might give even more vintage rock/reggae bump. Anyone know where to get a body routed. There is a local guy here, but wondering if you all have any suggestions. I love this model Warwick and the Bartolini pup, great Rock N Roll tone and a real easy playing bass. There is a two pickup model but dig the tone on this one, just though it might be cool to add another neck pup.
