+1 strange, hate the poser thing have to look a certain way, and why list the heavy glues/psychadelic bands, then say you sound like doom, but then say you don't like doom bands.

I renewed our CL ad and added a few things after the atrocity we witnessed last night with my friend's tryout. So disappointing that he wasn't as good as he lead me to believe.

Theres something to be said about a CL ad that gives exactly what they want, whenever I make an ad I tend to give a lot of info, some pretty specific, sure I wont get as many replies, but those replies tend to be more quality and it weeds out the crap people that dont want to do what Im looking for.
Buts thats way too much.
Fu Manchu, Kyuss & Monster Magnet are few of the original desert/stoner bands...those dudes are weird.
Laz you and your buddies should buy some wigs and dress up like Poison and Guns N Roses and play silly ****, and when they complain, say Psyche!!! Or just kick their poser butts

I think I actually know who this guy is, and it might be the same guy that Toastfuzz and I were laughing about when he posted an ad looking for a bassist, saying they have to have long hair, vintage Gibsons, all tube amps, etc etc. There's a lot of stuck up pretentious musicians around here, but I think every city has those.
