Lol, me too. Tequila for me. It's really hard to live in Texas and not me able to drink tequila without almost gagging.

Curious to hear their humbackers. Saw those acrylic basses. So damn sexy.


I kinda like the epi eb3 more than the sg basses since they're long scale. Throw in some better electronics and if take one over an sg.

He said it would likely come in around 8.5 to 9.5 lbs. Don't have a real final weight from him, but I imagine it's somewhere close. My Ric is 9.8, and I've owned heavier basses like my ATK700. It should be absolutely fine.

Whiskey for me, though there's a new rum coming out that's amazing called Papa's Pilar, the dark rum is solera aged in bourbon and port casks and then finished in a sherry cask, anyone who's a whiskey drinker like me and has never liked rum will throughly enjoy this.

Their humbuckers are interesting, think a beefier, scooped P sound, and I don't mean like Jazz scooped but with tighter, deeper lows

Oh that's cool. I thought they all weighed a lot because the two guitars and one bass that I had a chance to pick up were beyond a little heavy. 8.5 to 9.5 sounds reasonable to me. My back is a little touch and go, so unfortunately that is something I take into consideration when selecting new gear. Any idea on when it should be there?

Someone was asking about clean blend on Fuzzrocious pedals.

I have one on my Demon King, and LED modded OSD. I really dig having it. It's not completely needed as the OSD has plenty of natural low end. But it is really helpful in getting awesome lower gain OD tones (real awesome amp like breakup sounds). I also like adding a little clean to heavier gain tones which adds a little more definition in the low end as well as the top end clarity of playing with a pick (which is only relevant if you do play with a pick).

I also had a clean blend on a Rat King I had for a little bit, pretty much the same results as the DK/OSD though.

Well funeral day is over glad that is done, stopped at GC in Harrisburg PA on the way back to Wilkes-Barre, was very tempted by a silverburst Epi Thunderbird, but then I saw the the 1989 Squire II made in Korea strat in cherry shape for $169, pulled it off the shelf, felt like quality, plugged it in a mini Vox tube amp, and great pickups, great glassy strat, as nice feeling as my MIA standard strat and as nice sounding. Needless to say it came with me, early birthday present to myself. Got my Squire on!
