honestly i am loving the **** out of the ernie ball rounds when downtuned.. everything sounds better. the only strings i'm interested in trying now are the cobalts in the same gauge and those dunlop heavy cores
i went for the Power Slinky .55-.110, i think that's what you recommended - same gauges anyway, i like the little bit of flop it has in C standard.

These guys seemed to have me dialed into the mighty Google sights. Every page I click on, Ghost seems to loitering in the banner or hanging out on the border. You think someone knows you... lol...
I gave em a listen, few different tracks, and I don't quite get their angle. I get the theatrics I suppose, but I think it makes me think that they are going to break into something I want to hear.
I mean, if you are going to rock out with Lord Satan, Bring It! To me, it sounds a little like The Monkees with a darker dressing room and lyrics.
Am I missing something? I probably am as I don't remember seeing so much advertising for one band recently.

Guys, I was wondering, for those of you who play Stoner/Doom with flats, do you lose all treble ?
If not, what are the best and brightest flatwounds that stay that way ? Chromes ?

FYI you will loose some output with all flats. But if your want bright and not ground wound flats I would suggest roto flats. Rotos are quite stiff bit sound awesome. Next may be TI jazz flats, supposedly the closest thing to a round tone in a flat but too expensive for me to try. Only other option may be GHS brute flats but that's a round string ground flat and I don't like the feel.
