Okay, thanks. I'll try to experience with a few brands.
I always played rounds, I really like the feel of flats but never had time to really hear what they're capable of. Especially in a Stoner/Rock context.

@Lazarus: Really nice stuff you do with SuperVoid, I liked the FB page, upvoted you on Reddit and will D/L the EP when I'll be home from work !

You don't think he's entitled to some payment for you using his artwork?
It was good of you to contact him for permission. Most people would just go ahead and use it.

Seriously now, you're debating string tone when you have 43 fuzz pedals all daisy chained in line?

If I was making money off it, yes, he should be compensated. The way I see it, I am spending money on the flyers, I would allow his advertising/website/art page to be advertised within my band's page, should I send him half of the the bill for "joint advertising"?

And when we were ready for some for real, "drawn for us" art, I would have went to him to atleast price check it... oh well. Time to start bugging my tattoo buddies again. Maybe this time they get back to me. :hmm:

It doesn't matter how much you're spending on promo. The artist still needs to get paid for his work. However, since the work is already done(not custom) and it's just for a single event poster....payment shouldn't be too much.

I can't find out how much. That's the issue. I will probably move on as Ron advised. Would be cool to work out a "share" agreement though.

Too bad the old Carvin does not come with a string guide. I figure I'm doing pretty good with my tone, considering the blatant poopiness of my gear. :D

I keep going back and forth between Nickels and SS. I think I like Nickels too much on the Carvin.

What's the doom room standard on P basses? Flats? Uh oh... :D

Haha reminds me of the other day in MGR I found a rockbass double pickup version of my single pickup West German Streamer Standard I said to her I think the double pickup sounds like a Gibson more. She said whats the difference you are just going to change the tone with all those pedals ha ha.
