I know that slap bullcrap. Every time you are trying to check out a video of how a bass sounds and they the catbird starts slapping, like what does that prove, dude fingerstyle and pick going through the pups and the tone controls will tell you all you need to know about a bass. If you want to slap just by something cheaper from the Ibby line that has shrill highs and tubby lows, lol. Arghh just my opinion though. I hate having to skip through reviews on the old youtube trying to hear the tone of a bass through some stumpjumper being all slap happy. Or any visit to GC and the clambakes are all slapping away, I feel like saying dude, why don't you just play drums, and I right, and I right, you feel that, you feel that that's my attempt at sounding like the gospel and slapper guys checking out basses at GC, lol.

Also companies I do not buy from. Though I almost traded for a schecter hellcat a couple years ago, just no need for something like that.

Yea it's weird how people in such a creative industry/hobby people can become so oblivious and box like in their thinking. Jack Bruce has a pretty good Warwick tone. Generally speaking I don't see many warwicks live, and most of them are in more background music bands.

That's helps ease the uncomfortable lust I've been harboring for your bass. Got a hang up for the all wenge necks and brass frets. The bart should be fantastic but I guess I don't need to tell you. The search continues...

There is a real an older real cool Schecter guitar that is like a neck through telecaster with I think it was Dimarzios in it, that I kept passing over till it was gone. There is usually a hidden treasure even in the shredder and slapper companies, if you look hard enough lol. But you are right you see those names and then instantly you go skip, next.

Yeah not sure what older model would have all Wenge neck with a pup config that you would dig, There is that pj model, can't remember the name right now.

I hate that, also the guitar demos that only play a blues lick or shred run for everything.

Yea ibanez is like that for me aside from talmans, icemans, atk's, Roadstars and lawsuit models I skip them. The sound gears probably my least favorite design of any bass, and looks like it should come with a pair of jnco jeans an a knowledge of korn songs.

There are alot of cool older models, the fortress masterman is really top of my list. Just waiting for one to pop up when I've got the cash.

In my search for a lighter bass (on the count my genes suck and my back is crap), I considered a sr 500. I just couldn't do it. As much as my wallet liked it, the SB won.

Sup fellas!

Had a small impromptu show at a new venue last night. It was like a sneak peek type thing of the new place. Awesome place. We rocked the sh*t out of it and made a bunch of new contacts. Got three shows offered up to us before we left lol. Felt good.

Yeah, dude. This new venue is gonna be something special. Kinda tucked back in the middle if nowhere. Huge, tuck and roll bar. Small stage, but they're gonna build a bigger one. Upstairs area is gonna be a sleeping area for touring bands. Pretty awesome stuff.

I guess the place used to be occupied by the hells angels long ago. So its got some cool history.
