I was at a hardcore show as a young buck and I turned around to say something to a buddy and as soon as I turned back around a skinhead was headwalking and I turned right back around into his flailling boot. I also took a rear view mirror off in a bad car accident with my nose one time too, but I don't exactly know if it was from all the busted nose incidents or maybe just born that way. Funny thing is all nose damage was straight on as it stayed straight at least. I can barely breathe through my left nostril at all. But as far back as I remember I always hyperventilate why jogging and running even when I was scrawny bugger in High School and Basic Training. I barely graduated Basic Training because I did fine on push ups and awesome on situps, but the 2 mile run trying to breather through my mouth and one nostil felt like I was drowning on dry land lol. I thought I had some cool injury bragging rights till I met a guy in Florida who got bit by a shark while boogie-boarding, smaller shark but still a wicked scar and story!

Use it at a straight edge to make sure everything lines up, and it reaches up your nose to make sure the back is set properly. Joe is suffering now because his wasnt set that way.

My coach was very supportive of the, "control the attitude of the match first, then control the pace, then worry about your points." Winning is important, but if you are in control you end up winning. I watched a few matches where my coach sent a team mate out to the second round with the advice, "head butt him" or "slap him". The change in attitude helped those guys take a match they were loosing, to one where they were winning. You take your penalty point, and continue with a different attitude. That is why there are penalties, and you dont just get thrown out. Its not patty cake either, neither is life. ;)

Yeah I was young and didn't know if the doctor was good or not. The doc was such a jerk that when I went in to office after the surgery to get the packing taken out, he was so impatient he just yanked away and he ripped my surgery open in his office! I see this panicked look on his face and feel warm blood pouring all over my lips, he puts a cloth on my face and presses down on it while screaming for his receptionist I need help grab extra rags. He said you have to stay calm and do what I say I just ripped your surgery open and have to cauterize your nose to stop the bleeding. The poor receptionsists is turning white looking at me, I am in shock and wanting to punch him in the face at the same time. He mixes up his batch of blood stop all Predator lost his hand style and crawls on me with his knees like on my hip and chest so I can't move and brands me. They attempt to clean me up and send me on my way. I remember walkign to my car in a daze of what the heck just happened there and look in the rear view and see dried blood they missed in spots on my face and neck. Like my Gramma used to say, I could write a book about my life but I wouldn't want to read it back. LOL

Not allot of margin if you are planning on flipping. Every one of these came with a case too, so remember that when pricing.

I have a vintage US made Peavey T-40 bass for sale. This guitar was made in 1982 and is well used. Everything works fine, and the action is good. It does come with the original case as well.

I'm interested in cash only. You won't find a better deal on on CL or ebay. It could use a sanding and clear coat if you wanted the like new appearance, but I loved the dull and aged look it has. It does come with strap locks, but I won't be including the strap.

There's a couple other T series in town but they are like $400+. There's a white T-45 but it's $475 I think.

It seems to come with the case, looks like all the knobs and pickups are stock. Just seems the finish is worn? What's special about the tone pots? I can bring a screw driver to check.

No clue if I'd flip, I've wanted one off and on for a while and the price is ok and it kills my need for a Ric, jazz bass or ATK and solves the second full scale bass need.

I'm the opposite :) lol. I like the extra presence the rat has but I imagine or rigs and taste are worlds different.
