34.5" is where it's at. I had a couple of 35" over the years but was never comfortable with them.

Honestly that was one detail we didn't really go over. It feels P-bass-ish, but I think the specs he used to list for the nut width was 1.65" standard.
It's definitely not as narrow as a J-bass (I hate those necks)
I'll have to measure to see what it actually is when I get home.
lol, glad to see im not alone on that one. gotta think about this now cause hes asking me about duplicating a neck i really like. ill come up with something.
my EGC is gonna be 35.5 (cant man up all the way to 36).
you back doing tech again? meedlymeedlymeedlywompwompwomp
did you order an EGC?
Spent some more time with the BDI21 (Behringer Sansamp clone) last night - still not digging it. Couldn't find a setting that wasn't overly bass-heavy and boomy. I don't know if it just doesn't like my ATK or what, but the EQ seems very limited, the drive knob does almost nothing until then end of the its range, then it just causes more bass rumble.
After I got frustrated with that I plugged in the Bass Big Muff just to fool around a bit and it was not acting right - so I think my bass pod or one of yhe cables in my home set up is messed up. So, because of that I'm going to bring the BDI to practice again tonight to try it through the big rig. I'm sure some of what I was disliking last night was due in part to whatever glitch is in my practice rig - but on the whole I'm not really digging the amp-in-a-pedal format. I'll probably A/B with my guitarist's real-deal Sansamp and see if the Behringer really is that ******, or if I got a defective one, or if it just doesn't play well with my ATK...
Ron and Laz's EGC basses are pretty and sound awesome, but I've got no interest in buying one. I couldn't even hang with the Kramer 450B I used to have, hurt my left shoulder too much. I'm more into natural wood grain as an aesthetic anyway, I was raised in a freakin woodworking shop after all. The last custom bass build I purchased was medium scale, chambered and natural walnut face.
im not into aluminum bodies at all, hence why hes doing one for me in wood. took 2 months for him to find the right piece too, but it looks rad city.
Is this a model with only the treble and bass adjustment? If it is, and it's set up as a BDDI clone, it's got a big mid-scoop with both the tone knobs at noon.
Everybody is getting them. And orange amps and green boy cabs and couch straps and wizard fuzz. Hail laz!!!!!!![]()
no greenboy anything

what the **** is a couch strap
