Picked up the DOD Thrashmaster - it's ridiculously bright neon pink, pretty beat up and may or not work, totally happy with this purchase.
Bonus: the guy says he has some vintage pedals that need work that he'll be willing to sell cheap.

The wal is not mine. Temp swap of my white ric for the wal. And the wal is kinda poopy. Fat neck with a soft v al 50's style p bass and I like the pink jazz better

I like the way Wals sound, or at least, how the ones I've heard other people use have sounded, but I don't like V shaped necks.

Haha, yeah those two things make it worth the 5 bucks that I spent. Tried it out last night and it doesn't work, hopefully it's an easy fix.
I don't really dig how it sounds thru anything I own. I wanted one so bad like 10 years ago. Kinda glad I never got one. Tastes change, I used to hate fenders
Jammed with a old friend for a minute last night doing some kinda tech stuff. Makes me want a high end 5 string again. We were jamming in drop A and the drummer had a schecter radian available to me. It was ok but needed a lot of love. Also I don't think I like 35 scale. 34 1/2 is just right I think.

ive just heard clips and flea used one on bssm and i love that tone for what it is. and tools guy uses one as well and always had really nice tone.
wouldnt use it for doom or anything really heavy tho.
my EGC is gonna be 35.5 (cant man up all the way to 36).

Man, I just couldn't justify the bodacious cash a Wal would command. Hell, I wrestle with spending any money on gear. I'm just way too tight with the cash.
