Pretty sure that's the same Peavey combo that I used in my old stoner rock band 12 years ago. Was borrowing it from the guitar player until our drummer quit and I switched to drums. It was certainly loud enough for that band.

Anyone have experience with push/pull pots? Could you wire one up to work as an on/off switch?

Yep. Very easily.... push pull pots made alot more sense to me when I realized the push/pull action is an entirely separate operation from the pot. They can be used like any other DPDT switch.

The wal is not mine. Temp swap of my white ric for the wal. And the wal is kinda poopy . Fat neck with a soft v al 50's style p bass and I like the pink jazz better . Told my buddy that and he's like " it's like comparing fine champagne to PBR". The b15 is his too lol. He is a gear hoarder!

Yeah, the Peavey is perfect for my needs, loud enough, super cheap, and sounds pretty darn good. Pretty f'n heavy though.

And my guitarist continues his GAS...he bought a Sunn 100s modded to have kt88s last week, and I just got word that his new Orange CR120 was waiting for him at home. And he's putting the Peavey Standard amp into the old Supernova head case so hell have a matching stack with the supernova cab. I think he got jealous from my GAS while he was gone and that I'm completely satisfied with my rig now.

Where he get the money? My friend just got a dwi and he says his future is broke as hell?

thats a V6B head. i used to have two of the cabs that went with them (215s).

at least i think thtas what it is.
