I only heard 2nd hand so cant accurately report, but apparently it involved a band crashing at another bandmember's place, alcohol, a knife, and an early departure.
So not the best pic but check out the T-40 I snagged for $100 yesterday! Its actually maroon, not black. Had some dings and scratches but for a well used bass its solid as a rock.
I dont know if I've ever seen/heard of this before... the pickups are coil tapped when the tone is up above 7, as you turn it down past 7 you hear an audible thickening as the full humbucker engages. It took me about 10 minutes of fiddling with it to make it sound pretty much exactly like I have my Ric. It has a really really good P tone with the neck humbucker engaged and solo'd. Think I'm gonna have fun with this one

Vibrations of Doom, Doom Radio is a good place for death/black doom stuff. I always use bands like Turbonegro to get more of the rock stuff. Then bands like Atomic Bitch Wax, Blind Dog, Nebula. That stuff sorta hit the rock that my punk side needed. High On Fire and Black Cobra got the heavier side. Kylesa, Zoroaster, Weedeater, Eyehategod, Melvins, for some sludgeness. I have really been digging Ufommamut, and don't forget Bison BC and Demonic Death Judge.
You can pretty much go to allthatisheavy.com and pick something. There is the meteor city listening both with some goodies too.

And my guitarist continues his GAS...he bought a Sunn 100s modded to have kt88s last week, and I just got word that his new Orange CR120 was waiting for him at home. And he's putting the Peavey Standard amp into the old Supernova head case so hell have a matching stack with the supernova cab. I think he got jealous from my GAS while he was gone and that I'm completely satisfied with my rig now.
I reckon a Fakenbacker with a Earthless - style mod with an old dimarzio PAF p-bass pickup in there would be awesome sounding.

I tend to focus on spelling, I was never taught basic grammar it's a long story. But in the end I've done pretty all my best work in written form and its done me fine.
Interesting enough kriegers face is taken from an Austin emergency room doctor. And he's voiced by lucky Yates who does the weird characters on Alton browns good eats.

nice snag! I have a friend who has the coils tapped on his guitar like that. It's a cool little feature.
Happy with my setup, but the local CL finally has some decent bass stuff....kinda want to buy it just so I can fulfill my CL buying experience.
